"The meal was very good and the service was extraordinary. It's pricey, though."
"I have been coming to shoals for more than 11 years, and there has never been a problem! This is the best place to go on the island. The food is so awesome, and the view is just as good! The staff are the nicest people on the island, and they are always in a good mood! If you are having trouble choosing a place to go for lunch or dinner, this is The place to go!!!"
"Very nice place to hang out and have the availability to use the beach and pool within close reach. Food is a great and they host an awesome taco night! Only thing to note is that the pool is a mix of salt water and chlorine. I’m an avid swimmer and my hair has never turned green. This pool however turned my hair green almost immediately."
"The Shoals Club experience was hit and miss. It’s a great location on the water and the views are amazing. Staff are nice and accommodating. Pool bar ran out of draft beer. Pool itself is fantastic and salt water, heated to stay a nice warm temp. But the food was lacking at the patio dining. We tried the lobster sliders, they arrived on blah croissant buns seemingly straight from the grocery store and with minuscule amounts of meat. Fish and chips were great though. As for the kids munu, it’s expensive - $18 for a kids burger, though it’s definitely more adult sized. They are understaffed so service was frustratingly slow all three visits, and lacked attention to detail like needing to constantly ask for silverware, plates for our appetizers, napkins - basic stuff. If on the patio, enjoy the live music and the view, get a drink, and keep expectations low and life will still be good."
