"I was searching Google for someone to braid my hair and stumbled across a rare gem. Listen up ladies book an appt. You will not be disappointed!! This lovely young lady did an fantastic job on my hair! Super neat and not too tight. She is not snatching the edges away. She uses QUALITY products not the Dollar store black flake gel along with extremely high prices. Her fees are so reasonable you would want to give more. The atmosphere is great along with her music playlist. I wanted to start dancing. Let’s just say she has a returning client. Now let me see what style I want next."
"I got my hair done a few days ago (6/21/19) and I'm so glad that I discovered this place! If you look at the photo, my twists are the blue ones. I'm super happy with them. Braid.pearl is a home salon. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that the home is clean, it smells nice, and it just feels really good. Precious braided my hair at her dining room table while her mom, Miss Kimmie(sp?) chopped vegetables and quietly sang behind me. It had such a feeling of home and made me miss my own mom. Precious works very quickly and neatly. I'm tender-headed so I expected it to be excruciatingly painful but it wasn't. I explained to Precious about how the last woman I let put braids/twists into my hair took my edges out and left me with bald spots on either side of my head so I haven't let anyone touch my hair in a couple of years. She was understanding and listened to my concerns. The braids are tight enough to last but not too tight, and she was careful of my edges. The house has Wi-Fi and outlets to charge your devices. If you're a quiet sort, then bring your devices. What I like about Precious is that she was quiet when it seemed like I wanted to be quiet, but she engaged in conversation too? I had a great conversation with her and Miss Kimmie about all sorts of things and five hours passed by quickly. The pricing is very reasonable and she did such a good job. I will definitely be returning to her."
