"I had never been here even though I've lived in Garner for many years. We didn't walk the trails. It is a nice playground but they didn't have play equipment for toddlers. Its not quite as nice as Lake Benson and White deer but I did like the soft surface the playground is built on and that it was fenced in. Nice for kids 4 and up."
"The trails are surprisingly quiet and topological interesting. Didn't see anyone else on the Sunday morning, which means you need to watch out for spider webs. Not paved so be careful. I was distracted while going downhill and slid and twisted my knee a little. We really like the place and will definitely come back."
"Decent park with dog park, kids park, 2 baseball fields and shelter. Tennis courts were a little other side. Went in the evening and it was so nice out here. Fields were full with kids baseball training going on and we just sat and enjoyed viewing it. Concessions were closed when we went but not sure when they will be opened. Trail was little maintained so we didn’t want to try it. Overall a decent place to visit when something is going on in fields."
"Clean bathrooms, decent concessions and well-maintained fields. No grass on the infield and the clay surface is a bit gravelly and loose. They have a really great trail that takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk."
"We visited this park to walk the nature trails. The trails are called Hillard Creek Trails. If you want to walk in the middle of the woods this is a good trail. The downside is that trail blazes are missing so you can easily get lost. The trail is pretty much single file. Based on appearance I would guess that once the leaves really start to fall the trails would not be distinguishable."
