"Beautiful place. We love to go there with our children. There is everything you need for both children and adults and a playground for children and a lake with a beautiful view for adults."
"Great walking trails when not overrun with Frisbee golf players. The parks department did a terrible job building the course right on top of some of our walking trails. They needed to be separate like at the other parks, not overlapping. The players are sometimes rude, loud, curse and smoke when families are there to enjoy nature. Most of the players are nice and reasonable but some make going to this park terrible....and I blame the county for not thinking about the walkers before building this right on top of our trails. Pros: lots of wildlife when loud players are not scaring them off! Today we saw a ring headed snake, picture below."
"I found a trail at this park on AllTrails and it looked nice so we decided to check it out. The beginning of the trail was really nice. It goes through a wooded area and down to the river. Then the trail suddenly becomes a disc golf course. Now the disc golf course seemed really nice, but I wouldn't recommend hiking a disc golf course. You're just in the way if people are playing. There's a nice lake later in the course. Overall, I'd recommend it for disc golf or maybe just to hang out at, but I wouldn't recommend walking through the disc golf course like AllTrails recommends."
"Absolutely awesome park on a very hot humid day! Heavily shaded on the play ground and the walking trail. We didn't use them but the softball field was nice and neat and ready for play.....also the sitting area around the ball field was shaded also. Nice restroom facilities and lots o f playground equipment for kids to play on. Most of this stuff looks like it was recently installed here! There is disc golf here and the trails are clearly marked and visible. My 3 kids enjoyed the visit and the heat was barely noticeable at 1130 in the morning and almost 90 degrees! No dog park but pick up bags for people with pets."
