"They have AMAZING food and AMAZING drinks. If you know your drinks, you know whiskey sours are better with egg whites. The bartender I spoke to last time was a pizza and even made me a random drink that was amazing! If the place is busy please expect a wait for your food. I get most of it is pizza but there is still a wait when it's busy. However, this place is amazing all around!"

"Worst Mellow Mushroom I've ever been to! 50 minutes after placing our order & not seeing our waitress or getting any food, my husband had to get up & walk to the counter to ask what was going on. He found out that our order had actually never been put into the system! We had to order everything AGAIN! It took another 30 minutes for 2 large cheese pizzas, 1 small mushroom pizza & a couple of appetizers. At the end, the manager gave us a $15 gift card "for your next visit". WHAAAT?! I was expecting way more! The audacity. We then asked our waitress to apply the gift card to our bill. After this experience, there will be no next visit!"

"I was not a fan of mellow mushroom before I ate at this location. I got the small “Buffalo Chicken” with Ranch and it was a 10/10! At the front of the building there is a sign that they have a shortage of employees but the service was great and fast."

"I’ve been a fan of Mellow Mushroom since my first visit at their Asheville location two decades ago. Was quite excited when they opened locations in Winston- Salem and now in Hickory. Their specialty pizzas aren’t your typical run of the mill PJ’s, PH, or Domino’s. Portions are pretty generous as well. I’ve always been a fan of their Cosmic Karma because every time I pluck that first slice, the never-ending string of melted cheese reminds me that I’m in for a treat. They also rotate and keep a great beer menu."
