"This place is a scam. Never could have a MD see my grandchild because there is only one and only at the north office. The rude receptionist said we could change to that office but it never had a opening. The women at this office is not a doctor. They never offer same day office visit if child is very sick. Ever! We had to go to the outpatient clinic. They say after office visits also. Always closed. Our Granddaughter was very sick and could never get a referral. This person that sees children should get fired. It gets worse."
"Imagine being turned away from the doctor when you have a sick son (who has been treated here multiple times mind you-all 3 of our kids!) and you’re turned away for being 5 min late for a sick appointment. My son was fussy and it was a bear getting him in the car to make it on time. I called on the way letting the office staff know I was going to be late and the reasoning. They call me back as I am parking and let me know he couldn’t be seen, that Denise is “back to back appointments.” I continued to walk in and the owner (Ana Hodges) rudely (I would use other colorful words but I will refrain) repeats what the office staff said-that because I am late, my son cannot be seen. I asked for all 3 of my children’s records (of course that will take time) and stated I will be going elsewhere. I took my son over to First Health Convenient Care and he was seen promptly. He tested positive for the flu and an ear infection. Be aware of their late policy..they are very strict about it and will turn away your sick child. There will possibly be a defense response on this review about their appointment policy etc… I’m just a regular mom trying to get quality care and advocate for my kids. Being turned away with my sick child in tow-I’ll never forget that experience."
"All of the providers at Legacy Pediatrics are awesome. Dr. Hodges, PA Locklear, and PA Parker are all thorough and GREAT with my son and I would recommend them to any parent. What’s also special about them is they never make me feel like I am overreacting, they take my concerns seriously, and I always feel comfortable or better after coming to them for help. I am a provider myself so I know how hard it is to genuinely care for people when you have personal things going on yourself! I couldn’t ask for better pediatric providers. I dread the day when we move and I have to find new ones! The entire Legacy office staff have always gone above and beyond for my son and they make us feel like family. My son is sick often because of daycare germs and I appreciate how often I am able to get a same day sick appointment. The cherry on top is their after hours care and on call system. Their services are top tier especially with how unpredictable kids are! Thank you Legacy "
"Ms. Denise (PA Locklear) is the absolute best! She is straight to the point with things and I appreciate that soo much, who wants to be beaten around the bush when it comes to your child’s health?!? Wait times have been alittle too long at times and the questions get very redundant but it’s all worth it to know your child is being loved and cared for like her own. The office staff have always been very nice and helpful. The after hours office is amazing too!"
"It costs nothing to be kind. Overall we've had pretty good experiences with each of the care providers, and the most excellent nurses, but throughout our 4 years of visiting this office we endured the rude office staff. Since moving away, sending medical/immunization records and wrapping up billing has been so frustrating. When you have a FABULOUS pediatrician's office to compare this to, life seems too short to put up with condescending, rude office staff or with providers who are often rushed and sometimes it feels like they're just checking a box. Our most recent visit with PA Locklear was the best yet, as she was thorough, attentive and took her time with our baby and we would return to her again if we didn't have to deal with the Legacy Office."
