"Stay away from this office. I called and scheduled a deep cleaning; I was precise about what I needed. I was clear that I already had an exam with WOMACK. They did something very unethical by trying to do an exam and charging it to my insurance. Ensure you ask questions before they start anything, and do not sign a paper without reading it."

"If I could leave zero stars, I would. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel this needs to be done. I started going to this dental office in 2021. My first visit was good. The hygienist was pleasant and the dentist, Dr. Sherrod was a wealth of information. I was very pleased and impressed with her! A few months later I went in for an appointment to get a couple of cavities filled. When I walked up to the reception area, the receptionist was typing on the computer and without looking up she said, “Name,” in a snippy tone. I was immediately taken aback by her lack of friendliness and shortly into the conversation expressed my frustration with her. She then told me that she was just doing her job. My question was, “Is it your job to be rude to patients?” I then asked to speak to the office manager who seemed to not care about the fact that her receptionist was rude to a patient. I didn’t receive an apology, but I like Dr. Sherrod and decided to let it go. Fast forward to February 2023. I went in for another appointment. The dental assistant was supposed to take pictures of a tooth that needed to be capped. I remember her wrapping the camera wand with a plastic wrap and then she laid it next to an ink pen on top of a notepad as she left the room to get help. The camera was actually touching the ink pen. When she came back into the room, she proceeded to pick up the camera wand and was going to put it in my mouth AFTER she had laid it down on an unsanitary surface. I stopped her and ask her if she realized that she laid the camera on an unsanitary surface and then was going to put it in my mouth. She acted like she was frustrated with me and after a few exchanges of words, she stormed out of the room and didn’t come back. I complained to Dr. Sherrod about the dental assistant’s lack of professionalism. Again, no apology was given. I did let Dr. Sherrod proceed to do work on my teeth that day as I really liked her as a dentist. Now, let’s fast forward to today, August 3, 2023. I showed up 5 minutes before my appointment was to start and waited almost 30 minutes before I was called to the back. I didn’t complain. The dental assistant instructed me to have a seat and then told me that the doctor (she called out a different doctor’s name) would be with me soon. I told her that I was supposed to see Dr. Sherrod, she then informed me that Dr. Sherrod no longer worked there. My question, “Why hasn’t anyone informed me that I would be seeing a new dentist?” She couldn’t answer my question and proceeded to get one of the ladies from the front. Bad idea! Soon after, one of the ladies from up front came into the exam room with a mouth full of food and as she would talk to me, you could see the chewed up food in her mouth. How professional! She proceeded to argue with me as I asked why no one had called me and told me that my dentist was no longer there, and she even tried at one time to tell me that they did call me to tell me, but I didn’t answer. No, no one has tried to call me and let me know anything about Dr. Sherrod, no longer being at that office. The only calls I have gotten from anyone were calls from the receptionist, reminding me of my appointment and nothing else was mentioned. I then stood up and told the lady that I was going to leave and not come back. She and I proceeded to exchange words with one another, that were rather unpleasant by both parties, and then I left. This place is atrocious! The staff is not friendly at all, they are very unprofessional, and quite frankly, the bathrooms stink and are nasty. I don’t know what kind of atmosphere the owner of this practice is trying to create, but it’s certainly not a pleasant one. I sure hope things get better."
