"All was good until I decided to order a round of 6 shots, which I later found out to be $77 (I get alerts as soon as my card is swiped). This was fairly expensive btw. The bartender then took my card, I figured it’s one of the bars where they keep a tab open and keep the card. Not the case. I left the bar and tried to go back to get my card and the bouncer was very persistent that I pay another $40 cover charge just to go inside to get my card back. I ended up canceling my card because I was not paying to go back inside. Fast forward a few days, that $77 charged turned into a $100 charge I never signed a receipt so I reported it to American Express with a picture and the name of the bartender that stole my card and they are taking care of the situation. Not to mention they would pick and choose who they let in because of lousy dress codes, I’ve also witnessed them serve multiple people who were obviously underage (I’ve already made a report to the state inspector and started a case). This could’ve all been avoided if I was just able to get my card back but the workers let their ego and greed get to their head."
"Went to this bar for new years and the cover charge was $40. It was definitely not worth it. Not only did the bartenders give terrible service but constantly wouldn’t serve people of color as quickly as they would serve white people. The drinks are extremely over priced, watered down and not up to the quality advertised. Would NOT recommend having a night out here."
"This place sucks! The bartender wouldn’t let myself and my buddy in due to the fact that we were “not in the appropriate attire” so happened to be that we were people of color. At the same time there were people behind me who happened to be of Caucasian decent getting let in no problem."
"Have been several times but got denied with my paper ID on my 21st birthday. The DMV even told me that it should work everywhere I go. Drinks are actually pretty cheap compared to other bars downtown. Bathroom lines are brutal and gets way too crowded for what I'm comfortable with 90% of the time."
"Great atmosphere, cool little houses with different themes and DJs in each. There are bars and a few beer pong tables located throughout the space. Only problem we had were that the bouncers are biased and can be selective with who they let in (they denied two of our friend’s entry for no good reason)."
