Noda 101

"I was looking at bar and guy said I was sleeping when I was clearly wide awake, 30 min later WHILE I was scream singing they said I was sleeping at the bar and had to get out. Ruined my experience forever of this place. Was a few turns ahead to sing. If I would have brought friends along it would’ve been an embarrassment. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life."

"Karaoke on Saturday a vibe. But the staff outside of the bartenders are a whole no. Beyond discriminatory towards women of color. On the fence when it comes to coming back because outside the bartender’s it is a vibe. But the security and other staff hella rude when it comes to women of color and their safety."

"This is always a HIT spot whenever we are in Noda. For some reason, we always end up going on Sunday, which is service industry night. Everybody is always super friendly and welcoming. This is a karaoke bar, but even if you don't actually stand and sing something, it's still an awesome bar to go and listen to others and get a couple of drinks. They don't sell any type of food here, so definitely plan on grabbing a quick bite before you go. When you go up to sing, everyone makes you feel super welcomed and get you going, and everyone sings along, especially if it's a classic or favorite! This is definitely a bar I recommend to everyone when they are in Noda. This is the most liveliest bar, and the ambiance is always on point! Now this is in Noda, so parking is terrible. There are a couple of parking lots you can park at or Side Street if you get there early enough. We do tend to arrive early (8 pm) just to be able to snag a seat at the bar and be comfortable."

"I am in Charlotte staying at an Airbnb up the street and I just started walking and asking questions on what to do…which led me to NODA101. I had so much fun on Sunday. It was a mixed crowd and everyone was amazingly friendly. Definitely go on Sunday night and if you love Karaoke!"
