"It is my pleasure to say that my journey to become a nail technician started at this school, and it was GREAT. From personal experience, the school's curriculum prepared me well for the state board's practical and written exams (definitely my biggest concern). Beyond that, I was taught many different nail techniques and skills, from basic manicures and pedicures to dipping, sculptured nails, nail designs, and more. However, the program is only 300 hours long, as required by the state board, which, in my opinion, is simply not long enough for students to fully grasp and master all the skills and techniques. So, it certainly will require students to practice outside of school to master all the skills and techniques, but rest assured, the teachers are going to be there to help you with your journey, too."
