"Sue and Henry! Were amazing! I enjoyed and I will definitely come back! Update, although I enjoyed my first set, I returned a couple of weeks later with two friends. We wanted two fill ins and a full set. We were told they could only accommodate the two fill ins… there were plenty of people available to assist, it just looked like they didn’t want to do it. So I went to KIM nails and they took care of us in under an hour! Will I come back here? Probably not. That pissed me off."
"I just relocated to Raleigh and went to another, slightly higher rated, shop a few weeks back. I usually don’t go to a place unless it’s 4.6 or more. I’m very particular about my nails and service. From the moment I walked in everyone was so kind and accommodating. I asked if they thought I could be out of there by 10:45 as I had an 11 meeting. Lily instantly shifted gears and asked someone to come do my pedicure while she stood and did my nails. I was going to get the more expensive pedicure but she suggested I wait until I had more time so it wasn’t rushed and I could relax. They didn’t have enough polish color to do my pedi and mani but they were patient and even had helpful recommendations on which color to choose. They have made a forever customer. Lily heard everything I wanted about my nails and delivered. A little cut down, thick (I’m rough on my hands) and square but not sharp corners. Linda did a fabulous job on my pedicure. Their collaboration allowed me to not feel stressed or rushed and I was home in time for my meeting. 10/10 highly recommend. Also, Sue the owner made it a point to stop by my station and just say hi to me. Very friendly establishment."
"This place is my typical go to salon and I love their work. everytime I have questions about what I should get or I immediately don't know when I walk in they get very rude very quickly. I quietly expressed to the manager that if they have a website. I can look up what I want before I come that way. She went back to her client, made direct eye contact, and started gossiping about me.while I'm less than 5 ft away....and of course she made sure to over charge me the gel on my nails was 15 dollars more than last week."
"When I went to Allure Nails Spa, I received a pedicure and manicure, Henry is amazing, he is great at what he does. I absolutely love the shape. I also got my pedicure here, and my feet felt so smooth, I just love that nail salon. After they started getting more popular, Henry's wife Sue just became very rude, disrespectful and so very money hungry, she stop actually caring about what you style you want and does rush jobs now to get people in and out and gets mad if you request modifications of their mistakes. I stopped going years ago, what hurt is that I told hundreds of people about their shop and brought so many people there with me. I found other locations and nail techs that are respectful and do a wonderful job."
"I made the mistake of going here today. I will attach a picture of what I asked for. I asked for the base to be dip powder, and the French design to be done in polish or gel. The first guy I sat with went to get colors and didn’t come back. Now I’m in a different chair with a different tech. She puts the tips on and starts shaping, shows me the shape and it’s not straight. It’s leaning to one side. So I ask her to fix it, she tries. Another tech comes over to her and they start talking so I ask “what’s the problem?” My tech reassured me nothing is wrong. Maybe a minute later, she calls over another lady, and yes you guessed it … I move for the 3rd time. I ask her “are you confident you can do this because I rather you just say no.” I am a service provider myself and will say no if I can not execute what my guest is asking me. That wasn’t the case. She keeps going and I immediately realize the nails are all different lengths and shapes. So I ask her “can you please get these nails the same length as this one? This one is much shorter and they just don’t look right.” Nail tech keeps going and going, to the point where I said “you don’t even have to worry about the design I’ll just take the dip powder.” I played musical chairs 3 times, was not offered any type of apology or discount. I paid $62 for a full set of “SOMEOF nails” some of them are this long, some of them are going this way, some of them are shaped like this."
