"Road noise tires replaced on car, dash board light still on, basic key replacement(key stopped working). Very disappointed with service and explanation of service. Was told by sales manager that "I have 15 sales people and only half of them do there job correctly". He said it like it wasn't a reflection of him, placing the blame on them. Worst car experience I can say I have had."

"Some may not know but, McNair Performance and West Gate Car Care have merged. Their new location is across the street from the old McNair building at the Citco Station, right near Lone Star Brewery. The original crew from McNair are still here and if you have had work done by them in the past, you know they treat you like family. Honest people, great techs with prices lower than a dealership. In the past, I have always dealt with Jennifer and she is top notch and a straight shooter...no BS with her. **Update** I just had a alignment and state inspection done within 35-40mins, sorry wasn't timing it. I am not saying this is the norm but, how long do you think you would sit at a dealership for the same....1.5-2hrs ? TOP NOTCH!"

"I almost totalled my car and this place repaired it. It was supposed to take a week to repair, but it took FIVE WEEKS. I called each week to check on when it would be done, and they kept telling me it would be done the next week. They NEVER called to give me an update the entire time. I had to call each time. When i finally got my car back, i was happy that the body work and paint match was quality (i used to do paint and body work myself, so I’m very picky). This was three years ago and i decided not to leave a review until now, after i had tried to get them to look at a bolt on my seat that was stripped from over torquing it (and the lazy dealership refused to mess with it when they had agreed to fix my seatbelt sensor). I was told to ask for “Alex” and that i would need to talk to Alex about the repair. Everytime i called to speak to Alex he was not in. So i went in, in person around the time i was told he would be there and the guy at the front desk acted disgusted to have to quit playing on his phone and speak to a customer. I asked for Alex, and he said, “he’s out of town. He should be back today.” I asked when. He said, “i don’t know, he could be in this morning, or it may be much later today. I don’t know.” I was tired of trying to ask for this mysterious “Alex” and went to Collision Specialists in Durham where i got prompt and friendly service. I will never come back to Westgate Car Care. Take your car somewhere else to get it fixed if you want any sort of customer service!"
