"The worst manager I have ever come in contact with. So update, today I switched and for the same service through a competitor I will save 58.00 monthly ! Thank goodness I am done with them."
"If only I could give zero stars! Verizon cancelled my cell phone plan. I woke up with no phone. I have been a customer for 24 years. I have had the same cell number for 24 years. I have had it set up on reoccurring payments, with the same billing info for over a decade. I have never had an issue with a payment going through. My payment was taken out on the 5, it is the 11th. I went to the store on Russ Avenue and was there for several hours. Suddenly, Verizon had no record of me. A couple of hours later when they finally “found me”, they acknowledged that they had disconnected my service but they could not provide me a reason. They could see my payment was made with no issues on the 5th. I was told that it would take 24-48 hours to get my phone working again. This phone is my livelihood and I happen to have a sick parent at the moment. I told them that was unacceptable. I went to my car and got my laptop and changed my service to Spectrum Mobile. I guess this upset Verizon because I was told by the Russ Avenue store to go to the “corporate store” and they could by-pass all of that. I walked in and a pretentious red head asked me if she could help me. I started explaining what had been going on for hours and she interrupted me and asked me if I had been sent there from the other store. I told her that I had and she said, “I don’t know why they told you to come here! I told her not to send you here because we can’t help you!” I asked her what was I shipped to do. She stated getting an attitude with me. She told me that she was NOT going to help me. I demanded that she did because I was a customer of 24 years and that I had to have a phone. She also alluded that I was delinquent in my payments in front of other people, I have never once had a delinquent payment. She got all kinds of hateful with me while her manage just stood there and allowed it. I have never in my life been treated so horribly by a person, especially by one in “customer service”! After hours of dealing with this, a gentleman on the phone was able to help me get the info I needed. I am now with Spectrum. I have a better plan for less money. Run far away from Verizon and even further away from THIS store unless you want to deal with unprofessional and hateful people who could not care less about their customers. Oh, and make sure if you leave Verizon that you get your transfer PIN first, because they will make every excuse to not give it to you."
"Just left the store after spending over $1300.00 on a darn phone. I could have gotten better service and more personal service at a cemetery. Ask about transferring my data and contacts and was told they don't have the time today. But I could drive and hour each way and come back to have it done. Really?"
"If you have an afternoon to wait I invite you to waste it here. Even though we had an appointment, and were in time for the appointment, we were told we were third in line. It has been an hour we’ve been sitting here waiting to be called. I don’t see anyone in the store who was here before us, and we are still waiting. There is no indication that they are going to call us. I see they are waiting on the man who came in behind us, while we continue to wait."
"I am surprised by the negative reviews, and clearly these folks have not done business with AT&T. Now that's a negative situation. Chandler was patient and pleasant and took all the time in the world to help me switch over from AT&T. I never ever could have done it on my own. And oh the bliss of having a local store when you need help, instead of a call center where everyone has a heavy accent. There were three employees in the store that day, and all of them were helpful and polite. But Chandler is just an exceptionally nice young man, and very capable. They don't seem to get much thanks. That must be discouraging. I appreciated their help."
