"I have been going to Najvar for 3 months now. She was so patient when detangling my hair to start my loc journey. It seems like I have known Najvar for much longer because as soon as we meet it seemed like she was a long lost friend of mine (smile). I didn't think I would like the loc journey but I love it thanks to my AMAZING LOCTICIAN!! Shekera is the other stylist I have had a chance to talk to I really love her also. Najvar is also both of my sisters, and nephew loctician. She braid my 6 year old nephew hair and twist my son hair. My auntie had the chance to have her hair done by the owner Latefa and she was pleased and brag how great her work is and how sweet she is. All the stylist in Glamshe is so sweet and makes you feel welcome each time I go. The shop is so warm and welcoming I feel relax everytime I go. If you're looking for a welcoming salon please give Glameshe a try I promise you will not be disappointed."

"The shop is a Hidden Gem! And the stylist there are amazing. Good atmosphere. I've been going to Shakiera for Braid styles, Shampoo and just healthy hair maintenance!. "Candice did an amazing job on my large knotless. She is very professional and very knowledgeable when it comes down to natural hair. I love the energy that she brings and the conversation flowed so naturally. I loved my hair, I will definitely be coming back!"

"I had a horrible experience getting my silk press done here and would not recommend it to anyone! I booked an appointment to get a silk press with Ty before a trip. I arrived on time but ended up spending 5 hours getting my hair done because she simply did not know what she was doing. Firstly, she cut my hair when I only asked for a trim. Then she proceeded to apply a lot of product on my hair and applied heat multiple times for my silk press. Yet my hair looked like I got it blow dried. Another stylist advised her that her technique, tools and the amount of product she was using on my hair was not appropriate and the best way to achieve a good silk press. She was not receptive to feedback. Yet, she blamed my hair texture (4c) and the fact that I often apply heat to my hair for the result. This is not true and this was my first silk press in 3 years. That was extremely disrespectful. She also called my hair “damaged” multiple times and essentially blamed me for the outcome. I have healthy 4c hair and take care of my hair religiously. The entire environment was unfriendly and I didn’t feel comfortable there. I was not happy with the outcome of my hair and returned to the salon later that day to see how she could fix it. She did offer me other hairstyles but nothing I wanted because I paid for and wanted a silk press. She then reapplied more heat to my hair and I left. I subsequently had wash my hair to get another silk press the next day. I left this experience with severe heat damage after the amount of heat and product Ty used on my hair. Overall I had an awful experience and will never book with her again! I don’t want a refund or any compensation. I am writing this to provide an honest review about my experience here and I want others to be aware."

"The best compliment you can give is a referral and I can't thank my friend enough for referring me to Desiree. Located inside Glamshe, Desiree has the power to spin magic in her chair. My hair has literally flourished under her care and I enjoy my regular visits. She's priced fairly and knows her craft. From silk presses, to box braids and my regular in between trims, those protein treatments and deep conditions keep my hair happy and healthy. The way I tear my ends up in between visits is all on me lol. Regardless, if you're looking for a new stylist, I highly recommend Desiree at Glamshe, she's friendly, talented and will have your hair laid (insert brown skinned clap emojis - you know, for extra emphasis). It's been almost 2 years, and while this review is long overdue, you better believe I'm sitting in this chair as we "speak." I don't play about my hair, nor the energy I bring into my life...go see Desiree, you will thank me later."
