"Abercrombie & Fitch is in desperate need of a new system, one that will expedite the checkout process as well as ensure customers are not COMPLETELY ripped off. I was in the Hanes Mall location about an hour ago. I was shopping online today and saw that the dress I was eyeing was marked down from $58 to $29, of course I had to get it! I was planning on ordering online but I noticed some jeans I wanted and decided it was best I tried it all on in store. As I was checking out, I noticed that nothing was ringing up the same price as it was listed online. After I pointed it out, she had to look up the price on a slow ipad and then order it for me? Being that I work at Aldo shoes, I didn't understand why she couldn't just match the price for me in-store. After waiting over 15 minutes, she finally called someone else over and he did an override to match the price online. I still paid over $100 dollars for a pair of jeans, one shirt, and the dress. I walked out of the store feeling exhausted and manipulated. Had I not checked the price online, I would have absent-mindedly paid $30 extra dollars for one dress which is absurd. I do not blame the employees whatsoever, they did their best to handle the situation and were very helpful. I blame the company for not ensuring all merchandise is priced appropriately (which I have a feeling this is done intentionally). I will not be shopping in store again."
