"yeah idk if the quality of items they want has gone down over the last few years but they take such torn up, ugly, weird pieces of clothing over quality stuff each time i try to sell. Then, they take like 2 things but took 2 hours to go through my small box. I’m really not trying to complain but it’s literally insane that they took a pair of vans clearly painted on, but not a pair i’ve worn once. Target is a nice brand and they discriminate against it. They say they take brands like urban, zara, american eagle, etc, but then most of their racks are filled with shein and anytime I walk into plato’s closet it usually smells like someone pooped in one of the corners."

"Staff is rude. Stood at the counter and the girls just stared at me. Didn’t welcome me into the store when I walked in, customer service is not a thing here. Girl had an attitude when I asked her how much longer the wait is. Haylee the shift leader though was AMAZING!! super nice and respectful!"

"Went twice within two weeks with my sister. Both times, waited first in line for at least 5 minutes with no one else waiting behind us, while all three employees ignored us and talked to each other. No greet, no “I’ll be right with you” just carried on with their giggly conversation as if they’re at a sleepover & not at work. They were not busy. They were not going through clothes, or checking anyone else out, they were standing behind the counter blatantly ignoring their customers. Once one of them did walk five steps up to the register, she acted as if I was a huge inconvenience to her. Second time, Friday November 24th… figured I’d try to take some of my clothes I don’t wear or “fit” into anymore, hoping it was just an off day for the employees and would be treated better this time around.. took one bag of barely ever worn, nice jeans, all from American eagle & Hollister, a brand new north face hoodie, and a couple other nice items. They offered me $1.25 for a body suit I had gotten from target on sale for $11. Originally $20 body suit, but did not take the expensive, in great condition name brand clothing. Also, stood at the counter, with the bag in my harms, with no one else at the register checking out or dropping off clothes. Only me. Once again they all stood around towards the back wall behind their counter CHATTING to each other. NOT WORKING. I know what busy looks like. I know what work ethic looks like. These girls don’t deserve to have a job. They’re not even working at their job. They’re milking their hours, lazy, AND RUDE! Hire better employees Plato’s closet this is RIDICULOUS. Idk why these teenage girls think they’re above every one else who walks in that store."

"Went to return pants I bought my son 2 weeks ago. They didn't fit him when we got home. I tried to sell them they didnt buy them they said they were out of Date and worn. How I just had them 2 weeks ago. They were also very rude because I questioned them about it. I've seen old clothes there and completely out of date and they sell those there."
