"Staying in Holden Beach for the 4th of July weekend. We had a leak but not being plumbers we weren’t attempting to make things worse. We called the office at the park and were given this name and number not knowing what to expect. We turned off our water and fully expected to have to pack it up and go home. The phone call exchange with Gear It Up was very pleasant and to our surprise they dispatched the same day. Terry and his partner were professional and very courteous. They broke all the charges down including the 4 dollar part. In our opinion it was well worth the bill which was quite reasonable compared to our RV dealer and we will definitely be a regular customer IF NEED BE. We don’t want to make a habit of things breaking but Gear It Up will be our go to. Thank you so much for your service and getting us back to camping."

"I’ve never left a review before but felt the need to do so. My lady friend and I just spent the month of June at North Myrtle Beach RV And Dry Dock Marina. We have stayed there several times and used Gear It Up for repairs to our camper with no issues. On this past trip we started having issues with our refrigerator. We called and Bill came by to check it out. He took a rubber mallet and started hitting the refrigerant line saying we could have an air lock in the system. I was ok with that if that was all it was. Well that was not a fix, after waiting a day or more to see. Then Bill said we needed a new cooling unit installed. Within hours of installation there were issues with the new cooling unit and discovered it had a pin hole in the line and was leaking refrigerant. So they had gotten the last one from the warehouse and it was going to be a few days before it got to our location. So we waited once again. After Terry installed the 2nd cooling unit we still did NOT have a working refrigerator. Now all this took place after loosing grocery items twice and getting near the end of waiting 2 weeks. Terry came back out and tested a part that I had asked Bill to check his first trip there. After Terry checked the Thermistor, the slide on the metal fins inside the refrigerator that controls cooling and found to be bad. It was only then did we have a working refrigerator. Our insurance company paid Gear It Up $1434.64 and we paid $492 and some change. So Bill started out with the most expensive part when it turned out to be a part that cost less than $20.00. After confronting Bill with all the facts he already knew he refused to make it right with us. How aggravating it was and made our trip so miserable to have lost so much in grocery’s and we all know how expensive that is these days….. Then for our insurance to have been taken by this company as well as us spending nearly $500.00. So anyways they are looking into insurance fraud and my bank will file a wrongful charge against them. The moral of this story do you homework on your repairs and find an honest repair company. If I could I would not even checked one star! Never again Gear It Up with you get anymore of my money!!"

We have been full timing for over 9 years and Gear It Up are among the best, if not THE best Mobile Tech Service provider that we have ever used. They check all the right boxes: professional, honest, knowledgeable, careful, friendly, attentive to detail. We have absolutely no reservations about recommending them if you ever need mobile service in the Myrtle Beach/Conway/Long area. In this particular case they installed a roof top antenna which connects to an in-coach router. They found ways to hide the wires in the walls to minimize the amount of holes and openings. We are extremely pleased with the end result. You really can't go wrong with Gear It Up and since the last time we used them 2 or 3 years ago they have been expanding and now do make overs. And, lastly, they are veteran owned; Bill was a Marine."
