Truly made me feel very confident and trust his opinion. The assistant who was working with him wish I got her name because I even thanked her for being so patient and kind with me the entire time (she could probably tell I was nervous) these two are an incredible team. "Called them up because of the amazing reviews, and when I asked them what the general cost of an appointment was and they couldn’t even give me that. Not even a ballpark. Not even an average. I was supposed to just schedule an appointment and hope I had the money within the budget that was a complete mystery to me. Not even a ballpark cost of a simple visit? $100, $150, $200, $500? Who knows. It’s Top Secret. Could have walked into the office and ended up costing me $3000 for what I needed, or it could have been $300 total for all I know. I genuinely have zero reference point. I am asking for something very basic and reasonable. I work in the service business, and we don’t give out exact quotes either, so I totally understand that. We give general ballparks of what a repair would usually cost, or a general average cost, but explain that it could be more, and that we can’t give an exact quote until we have examined the issue. We don’t want the customer to be in the dark, just guessing, primarily because customers aren’t part of the business and have absolutely no clue what they need to pay. They have zero reference point, and are usually very off on their estimates, either way under or way over. I wasn’t asking for an exact quote. I just wanted to know what a reasonable ballpark for something simple was. The lady who answered the phone said she couldn’t give me that. Eventually she got frustrated and cut me off, hanging up. I mean, that’s the position her bosses put her in if they have a terrible policy where they can’t even enlighten the customer as to what a general cost of a simple visit is just to get an examination. I would feel the exact same way having to tell people that, and have them keep trying to pry it out of me, as if it’s that difficult to just say “on average, a simple examination usually costs around a such and such ballpark”. There, done, the customer is now informed, and they can size it up against their budget, and make their decision. As much as I really wanted to, because of all the great reviews, I won’t be using their service, primarily because I literally don’t have a clue what I need to budget for, and since I’m not made out of money and don’t have insurance, I can’t just walk in and hope I don’t end up needing to pay way more than I have set aside for it. I would still go if someone there would just tell me what the cost of an examination usually is, but by the time they read this review, I will have called up another place to get in, because my situation is quite urgent."
