"I love shopping at World Market. They have so many fun things. Their selection of greeting cards are the best. The food aisles have so many selections to remind me of my time living in Europe. This visit, I left with a vast selection of cookies that I can't get anywhere else, some flatware, a new lamp, and, of course, a few birthday cards."

"3 stars are solely for the wonderful woman who helped us today- I’m sorry I didn’t get your name. I had been wanting a small rug for ages and has been putting it off. Yesterday, I saw it was on great sale so I decided to do a pickup order. I went through their website to find a few other things- let me just say, this store is not responsible for the website, but this was a terrible experience! I placed my order and got no estimate of when it might be ready, so by the time it finally was, I couldn’t go. No problem, they hold it for ten days! We went to pick it up today, the rug was not included. I asked, and the wonderful associate double checked but none were in stock. I created this entire order around this rug. I asked if they might have others on clearance ( there had been some the previous day) and she did direct me to the rug section. There, I found rugs I had liked yesterday, but said they weren’t available in the store! (They weren’t marked for clearance, so this story doesn’t end with me happily going home with a rug) I did double check my emails and at no point did they let me know that I would not be getting this rug, which is really obnoxious- this store is about 20 minutes away up the most annoying road in the city. I’m so glad this wasn’t the only thing in the order! Again, I really don’t blame the store as this seems like a terrible website issue, but I was really disappointed with not getting this rug. However, the woman who helped us was so lovely and so friendly that I did want to say that she was great! (First register in the door at about noon on 8/29)"

"I love this place! Only place I’ve found in the area with packs of Hawaiian canned drinks. The British snacks are my favorite, and they’ve got a lot of cute furniture!"
