Outback Steakhouse 501 North New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054

"The food here was awesome!!! The service was not to good,multiple times our food was delivered to neighboring table(s), this happened multiple times.Im talking Our horseradish was left at the table to our left. And our bread was taken to the table on the right. Luckily our tables were very close to each other!!!! And we did get what we needed after we realized our waiters(runners) mindset and began paying attention to the Food coming out and to where!! In my experience here service is always a big "?" Mark!! Food did come out timely just to the wrong destination!!!!LoL I do recommend the Prime-Rib here,It is on the Pricier end of the menu however,but it's good,but for me not worth the price they ask!!!!!!"

"Came here to eat lunch with my family. We get our waitress... she seems very uninterested to be our server. She just seems to not really like the job at all. Now for the food, the baked potato soup I got was huge (could have been my meal.. and I only got it as a side) and it tasted straight like gravy. My brother got the bloomin chicken sandwich and they gave him cucumbers instead of pickles… nasty… my brother in laws noodles were hard. This place used to be so good, now it’s not doing the best. Hopefully it gets better so we can come back."

"What happened to Outback? This place has changed dramatically in a couple years! This used to be one of my favorite steakhouses but not anymore! In fact, I never plan to return. The steak was edible but not delicious and the shrimp RIDICULOUS! They should have been ashamed to serve them. The sweet potato was the smallest I have seen and the asparagus was gross. I guess they boiled it. Very disappointed."

"Went here for a farewell dinner with a friend as she is moving away. I ordered the $24 special which is currently going on. I’d included a filet, lobster tail, and two sides. The two sides I ordered was Mac and Cheese and Brussel Sprouts. The Mac was cold, dry, and barely had cheese in sight. The Brussels were really good, although I wish they were more crispy. The steak and the lobster tail were pretty good, although the lobster tail was not seasoned at all. For an appetizer I ordered the French onion soup, which was amazing! The service was horrible. We barely saw our waiter and toward the end he kept coming back to the table grabbing things feeling as if he was rushing us. It was disheartening since we were truly processing the departure of our friend. I doubt if I will be back to this location."
