"Absolutely the best steakhouse we have ever been to. The steak's were tender and amazing! The Sombreros ( mushroom) were delicious. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere."
"We always love the Alamo Steakhouse! The service is fantastic and the food even better! Steaks are always cooked as exactly as ordered. Sides are excellent as well, the wedge salad and the mashed potatoes are family favorites. If you get a chance, don't miss out on an excellent steak (or salmon) dinner!"
"Makes a mean steak. The day and time we went it was pretty dead. But the food was still really good. Husband ordered The Steak I ordered a El Presidente Porterhouse. It's the filet and strip all in one. It was really good. Both meals were 40 dollars a piece my husband ordered his oscared and that was hollandaise, asparagus, and crab for 8 dollars. Which was really good. I got a loaded baked potato with a side salad and my husband got mushrooms and onions with a side salad."
"While on vacation, I wanted to try a steak house and boy, this place did not disappoint. Our server was very nice and re-filled our drinks quickly. My steak was AMAZING. The mozzarella sticks were the best I’ve ever had so far anywhere. My wife’s steak did come out over done but they brought another one out and it was great! Definitely recommend this place if you want steak."
"My wife and I went to Alamo Steakhouse with high hopes after reading reviews online from others who recommended it. While we were not disappointed for the most part in our time here we were not blown away considering all the hype were read. We had to wait a good 45 minutes to be seated despite there being quite a few empty tables throughout the restaurant. Perhaps this was due to staffing issues, which at least could be understandable. Our server was quick to get our drink orders and to bring us bread, and was attentive and pleasant. My wife ordered the ribeye with a baked potato while I ordered the New York strip with broccoli and mashed potatoes. As a second side my wife ordered the Caesar salad. The side dishes were very good but the steaks lacked a true definitive seasoning that would place their quality above other well-known steakhouses like The Peddler. I was also disappointed that in a steakhouse that bills itself, at least according to their sign, as the "Best in the Smokies" they do not provide peppercorn grinders on their tables. All they provide is a standard shaker of run-of-the-mill pepper. It may just be me but when I go to a real steakhouse I expect to see something more than just that. The meal was, in the end, good, but nothing that really wowed us. We will be back next time we are in the area to give Alamo another try, however."
