"I wanted to play the course at Almonte today, but Bangin Chains had a tournament going on. I knew the course was still open to the public so I tried to slip in where I found some space. One of the tournament participants came up to me when I was just about to tee off and said “there is a tournament here today.” I asked if the public could still use the course and he basically told me I should walk up the course to hole 6 to find a gap. I just went home. I’m just learning disc golf and suddenly felt unwelcome. I don’t appreciate being shamed for trying to have some fun and get some exercise. Thanks for sharing!"
