Torchy's Tacos

"I wanted to write this review a couple weeks ago, but forgot. A friend and I wanted to grab drink and eat before our hurricane’s game. We sat at the bar and got to chat with Jacob and Trey. They were both super sweet and attentive. Had a great conversation with them both. This will be my new favorite spot to get tacos for sure! Did I mention the Paloma cocktail was amazing and is my new favorite drink!! We will be back!! Thanks again for the warm welcoming and service!!"

"Went to Torchy’s for a networking event and the tacos are excellent! Although the beef burrito was good, we would have loved for it to have a bit more meat. Great atmosphere and I can see that this is a great addition to Wake Forest!"

"Everything is a la carte, 2 tacos were enough for me. If you are really hungry 3 is probably good. The tacos have a good amount of filling in them so it could get messy. They have alcohol there too, for appetizer the chips with queso or salsa are good. For regular drinks they have fountains so you can get refills too. We sat outside, there is a fenced in section and it was mostly shaded."

"Ordered several meals and only one was excellent. Frozen margarita was worth the trip though. I plan to come back and order other things in an attempt to figure out what all the hype is about. Ratings - 5/5 strawberry margarita with tajin salt rim - 5/5 Baja shrimp taco was amazing. Perfectly cooked with a little spice. - 1/5 Democrat taco something was off, and made me feel sick. Maybe too oily? - 4/5 Fish salad bowel, good. Lots of food. - 3/5 burrito, not very flavorful or exciting - 3/5 kids quesadilla, nothing exciting. Does the job - 1/5 side of rice. Lots of things in it, but lacked flavor."

"FINALLY GOOD TACOS IN WF! The staff here are super friendly and helpful. The layout is great, so is the location. It was super busy when I went, but the orders came out quickly. Food was great. I’ve always loved Torchy’s, and this trip did not disappoint."
