Olive Garden Italian Restaurant 234 North McPherson Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303

"Visiting NC because I have military family down here & since my cousins wife LOVES Olive Garden we decided to treat her on our last night here. The wait was 15/20 minutes which is fine. We got sat and our server was amazing and attentive the entire time making sure we were taken care of and updating us on our food. We were told the kitchen was backed up which is fine. My problem was that we waited over an hour for our food only for some pasta dishes to come out cold and crunchy? Why is pasta crunchy and breakable when it should be warm, soft and be able to wrap around a fork with no problem? Immediately sent it back and asked for a new one just to restart the wait time again and ending up having to ask for it to go instead of to dine in. Ultimately my server did all she could and I blame the manager as it seems the kitchen staff was understaffed or not trained properly. I was told the pasta would be taken off my bill but it wasn't so I just ended up paying on the little tablet so I could leave once I received my last dish I asked to go. I'm glad where I'm from in Northern VA/DC we don't have service like this. If you're bringing military family/friends or even someone you love I wouldn't reccomend this Olive Garden and would suggest a different restaurant."

"This used to be a great location. Now, it seems like there is constant poor management and unnecessary wait times. A couple nights ago, we were told there were not enough waiters to wait all the tables in the restaurant. Add to that the fact that there must have been 15-20 in the lobby waiting already. That's understandable. However, it makes no sense that 3 or 4 of the waiters/waitresses at a time would stand up front just staring around not doing anything. The woman you first greet was in a an anime Hello Kitty jacket (not professional whatsoever). The manager and who I assume is the assistant manager showed no emotion at all and seemed like they didn't wanna be there themselves. The waitress, Mel, was very very kind and patient and stayed on top of things for the most part. I applaud her. But I'm not sure what was going on with anybody else in that restaurant. The food quality has also decreased over time. My previous visit there, they got plenty wrong on the order BUT had kind and efficient management to make up for it. Now, I feel like the place should just be closed."

"First the Good: Meadow is by far THE best server we have encountered at this location! She was attentive, courteous, and super friendly :) We had a very large, hungry crowd and she served us so quickly with just one other coworker helping her the entire time We eat here every year for a special occasion and usually it’s a hot mess getting drinks/refills/breadsticks/appetizers/soup/salad & entrees in a timely fashion. It was a great family meal together! Not so good: After an hour wait being told more than once, they were just putting chairs together and 30 min after that (1.5 hr waiting) then being told they had no clue when we would be seated. You don’t want to be that person, and ask for the manager but shortly afterwards we were seated. The excellent service from Meadow and the great meal made up for the rocky start."

"I had unlimited soup and salad, the soup today was a little watery, but the bread, salad and calamari were good. The service is excellent. Try that peach Moscato sangria. Thanks Jade"

"First time being back at Olive Garden in over 3yrs and it was just as good.... and expensive as I remember lol We tried to come here 2 other times but it was crowded & the wait was long... 3rd times the charm I guess. We were greeted upon arrival & told there would be a 30 min wait. We waited... walked to the smoke shop & the Jamaican restaurant down the road then we got a text saying the table was ready. It was less than 30min. The bathroom was dirty but the food was good -bread was cooked to perfection... lasagna was very hearty. I ate some salad, 2 breadsticks, one bite of everything from the tour of Italy and drank 2 teas and got full. The tea was FIRE and our host was nice and attentive. We got 2 meals , one appetizer & 2 drinks and paid almost $80 with tip so yeah expensive but I'm not mad about it. Will be back and would recommend."
