Maria's Mexican Grill

"Only 2 employees, owner and another. You don't know if you are in a Mexican or a American restaurant. Food price was high for portions. Bathroom had no sink. There was a community sink. Employees, people coming in and those using after the Bathroom. They tried real hard to please you. Atmosphere and food, just doesn't cut it."

"Love their chips and salsa! This is not a chain restaurant. This is run by a family. They will even make items not on their menu and make adjustments. They have American dishes such as burritos and tacos, and more authentic dish tostadas. They are kind and remember us even if we haven't been by in a while. In my opinion, this is definitely better than the Mexican chain restaurants in Butner and Creedmoor."

"I was loving this establishment until my last visit. As I was walking in, I saw a roach outside. I thought, "gross, but at least it's outside". I sat down and gave the waitress my drink and food order. Reached over to grab a napkin, and what else came along with it? A baby roach. Fell from the napkin right in the middle of the table. When it got up and started walking, I did too. Disappointed is an understatement to how I felt."

"This place is new from what I’ve heard. I grabbed lunch with a co-worker and didn’t expect anything. This place had authentic Mexican food and the tortillas were homemade. Absolutely recommend this place."
