"It’s a shame that this place has a 4.2 star review. We almost decided not to go based off the stars, but we are glad we gave this place a chance. The food is really good and the atmosphere is dimly lit for a relaxing evening. Our server helped us choose something mild since we were new to Indian food as well as letting us know what was good. We were nervous, but every single item we got was delicious. From the rice being perfectly cooked to the naan being fresh out of their stone oven. The sauces on these dishes were the star of the show and complimented the rice nicely. They also leave a pitcher of water for you on the table which I liked. Our waiter was great l, although reserved, he gave more of a professional elite dining experience kind of service which I didn’t mind. They gave us the right amount of to go boxes and when asked, they gave us two extra containers of rice to take home for leftovers at no extra cost. The food for us was also easy on our stomachs. The leftovers reheated well and tasted just as if we just ordered it. We Weill definitely come back here!"

"We are so glad to have had Persis cater our wedding events. The food was so delicious! Half of our guests were from out of town, mostly the Northeast/New Jersey area, and so many of our guests told us this was the best wedding food they'd ever tasted. The live dosa station was a hit and the chef even helped recreate dishes native to our area of India, including a jackfruit curry. It has been months since our wedding, and people are still telling me how much they loved the food. We are so grateful to the whole team for helping make our wedding weekend such a success!"
