Shiki Sushi

"DO NOT ORDER THE HIBACHI I ordered the hibachi, and got a plate of mostly raw green peppers, so I brought it up to the waitress. The manager came over with a very scary mean attitude. She said that this “is STANDARD hibachi that you’ll see everywhere” and that the owner doesn’t allow swapping dishes, but they’ll do it for me just this one time. So I ordered a chicken dish and then found small silver hairs in it. We used to come here all the time, but since the ownership change, the food has gone downhill. I have neverrrr seen hibachi come out like that, and I’ve eaten a LOT of hibachi. Definitely not standard. We’ll be eating at Mr. Tokyo instead."

"THIS WAS THE WORST SUSHI IN MY ALL LIFE! I HAVE BEEN BROUGHT OUT OF FRESH SUSHI THAT ALREADY LOST, THEY WERE TERRIBLY PACKED, ALL THE PIECES WERE CUT DIFFERENTLY, THE FISH IS STATED AND NOT PEELED, IT WAS SIMPLY DISGUSTING! I PAID $150 FOR THE ORDER!!! IF YOU COULD RATE 0, YOU WOULD GET IT. THESE SUSHI WERE CLEARLY PREPARED NOT TODAY AND THEY DIFFERENTLY LIKE THE THOSE THAT WAS PRESENTED IN YOUR PHOTOS! YOU ARE LIERS! IT'S A SHAME! I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF I GET POISONING OR WORMS AFTER THIS"

"I was craving Sushii, and this place was close to my hotel. First, I loved the statue in the front. It made the place stand out. When I first entered, a sign noted of staff shortages and to have patience. Noted. I was seated very quickly, and my first impression was how large the space was. There were plenty of spots to sit. I liked the ambience. The server arrived quickly. I ordered quickly - Hot and Sour soup, Shiki Crunch rolls, and Philidelphia rolls. Not 3 minutes later the soup arrived. It was good. The rolls arrived as soon as I was done the soup. I got a refill on my water before I was done, and the bill arrived immediately after I asked. There was NO shortage of service. 5 stars. The sushi was disappointing. They were not wrapped well (messy, sometimes falling apart when picking them up). I personally felt there was too much tempura crunch on top. I scraped a lot of it off. The taste of each was average. Maybe I'm being harsh, but it just didn't wow me, so 3 stars."
