"I’m stuffed… and still got this left plus the food was great"

"Stopped this place on my way to Charlotte. Got hibachi scallops to go. When I got to Charlotte and opened the container, it reeked of seafood that had gone very bad. The odor was horrible. I threw everything out to not get food poisoning. Very disappointed. I would have returned the food had I not been 2 hours away."

"They serve fast food hibachi. Imagine a nice, gourmet burger and then imagine a Big Mac. Now imagine a classy hibachi restaurant, then imagine the difference in quality between the burgers, and you'll get this place. The quality is not as high as it is a normal hibachi place: you can't get the steak cooked to order, and the yum yum sauce is pretty tasteless. But the portion sizes are generous, there's an average selection of veggies, and for the price it's reasonably tasty,. It's also much, much faster. It's a solid 3 star place, and if you want hibachi in a hurry, you'll be satisfied."

"$17 for one scallop chopped into 6 pieces. Got the combo for chicken and scallops and basically got robbed. Hibachi Chicken by itself is $10.19. Enough chicken in the combo for two people to share, not enough scallops for one person by themselves. Never again."

"Actually…. Not a bad place at all! Very similar, if not the same restaurant, located on Durham by Hillsborough Road (on 147), but overall very good! The white sauce does lack a bit of flavor compared to other locations, but it does taste like the usual ingredients for the white/yum yum sauce recipe: mayonnaise, maybe even butter, and some condiment like paprika and vinegar I think (I used to work at a couple of Chinese food restaurants) but it also depends on personal preference. I’m writing and giving a review based on my experience. Overall, I do recommend. When we called for pickup the lady on the phone did say that it was going to be about a 20 minute wait, so do order ahead of time. We got there in about 25 minutes, but the food was still warm (not burning hot, but it was still very good) portion was GREAT, I got full with less than half of the plate. I also suggest checking out the little sauce station to get extra sauces if you wanted more or just ask for more, I think they charge for extra but I’m not 100% sure, and utensils and napkins are also available in the same area by the sauce-filling-station. I will be coming back. Thank you for the service and the food."
