"It had been a while since I've been here and my immediate comment is that I agree with a friend who went there recently and said that the food, which was good before, has gotten even better. This time, my wife and I both chose the build your own combo, though the menu is extensive. She got the quesadilla and burrito and I got the enchilada and chili relleno. For us, the quantity of food is too much for one meal, but this is the case at just about every restaurant we eat. In this case, the choose two items combo cost $1 more than the one item and made for an inexpensive lunch the next day. We reheated the quesadilla and chili relleno in the oven the next day, along with microwaving some of the rice and beans and they were both really good, even left over. The chili relleno was very good, a stuffed pablano (I assume) pepper, battered and fried and then served with a spiced tomato sauce. Authentic and flavorful. Would get again. At the onset, they bring out chips with white sauce and salsa, both of which are very good, resulting in our eating too many chips. :) If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant that is a bit different than the average, I recommend giving compadres a try."
