"Items I would highly, highly recommend: - Crabmeat salad - Torched Salmon Belly appetizer (oh so good!!!) - Shaggy Dog roll - Rainbow dragon role (absolute artwork) - Deep fried cheesecake - hot sake - their home made sweet tea Consistently good food and good service. Tried a lot of different sushi here over the past year. Never disappoints. Favorite is Shaggy Dog roll, but it's all great. Reliable place to eat, to take others, and to safely explore the many sushi options out there. Popular hibachi and teriyaki dishes available too. Your choice of seating includes cozy booths (only 6 or so), regular 4-top tables, high-tops, patio seating and bar seating. Yes, it actually has a full bar. Try the chilled peach sake wine. Won't disappoint, you'll be hooked."

"Good sushi. We got the spicy girl, pink lady, and I think tuna lover. We usually go early (kids) so never an issue with a wait. Have also ordered take out and it’s usually fast."

"This was our first and last time visiting this establishment. My daughter purchased several items for dinner. The hibachi was bland. No flavor. The sushi tasted bad with bad flavor. As you can see in the picture, the avocado was brown so that tells me, this was not made with fresh ingredients. The avocado does not go brown that quickly."

"I’m a regular at this Japanese place in Indian trail usually for dinner, usually with my wife and kid. The staff is overall nice although service could improve slightly (offering waters, bring shop sticks with sushi,…). Everyone is friendly. The food is overall great. Their take of the hibachi is delicious. The carrots are a nice touch. From a sushi/rolls standpoint, it would be nice to see some more rolls without crab and more focused on tuna and salmon maybe avocado. A salmon roe sushi or such would be nice. Nice cocktail choice."

"My wife and I decided to order sushi Friday night and were looking for delivery. Shoku popped up and we were hesitant because we had never been before and hadn't heard much about it but we gave it a shot anyways. WOW - this is my new jam. When I opened the containers of sushi, I was blown away with the amount of fish in each roll. You can see the one roll in the picture that has very little rice and a giant chunk of fish and the entire order was that way. I could not believe how fresh and how big the pieces of fish were. We liked it so much we went there for dinner the following night. Now dinner wasn't the same experience as we had when we ordered delivery. They fish was still excellent and massive. We ordered the boat for two and everything came out quick and as ordered. The pieces of sashimi were huge chunks and were great, overall. The salmon was frozen and icy in the middle but the rest was perfect. The rest of the rolls were okay but not what I would have ordered. There was alot of imitation crab used which would not have been my preference however, the chef's wouldn't have known that since I didn't tell them."
