"Around 4:15 today at the JCrew at 6910 Fayetteville Rd, space 155 Durham, NC, my family and I walked into JCrew, and a Caucasian employee in the store greeted us. I kindly went up to them ( J.Crew employee) and asked if I could use a restroom, and he/she replied that they didn’t have one and informed me I had to go to Moe’s next door. For the record, I’m a brown complexion man I went to Moe’s and came back. A few minutes later, a Caucasian woman asked a JCrew employee if she could use the restroom, and he walked the lady back to the bathroom. I will no longer be doing any business with JCrew JCrew = racial discrimination"

She went above and beyond to help me, tracking down clothes for my daughter's school uniform, (who knew it was this difficult for a tween to find chino!) and ordered them to be sent to my home. The knowledge of the inventory and the level of cusmtomer service was exceptional."

"Amazing customer service experience with Cari. My husband recently got a new job and needed to revamp his wardrobe. He is tall and lean, so clothes are often too short or too baggy on him. As it turns out, J Crew happens to fit him very well. Over the last few weeks Cari has helped me find him a fresh new closet full of chinos, button downs, and suits. She listened to what his needs were, offered great suggestions, and helped me find good deals so he was able to get even more items. My husband is not a shopper, and he thinks he can’t put outfits together, but after Cari helped him find a perfect capsule wardrobe and showed him how he can interchange them, he feels confident what he puts on will look good. That’s a win for both of us in the mornings. She was patient and enthusiastic the whole way! This was not just a one day deal and she was great. We look forward to being back."

"This place probably does not deserve any star. On a Wednesday afternoon around 5:30, the store was literally empty, then we entered without anyone greeting us. The next thing happen to us was that the employee kept about a two-feet distance throughout our half-an-hour stay, almost immediately taking away and folding the item that I put aside, said “excuse me” and cut through in front my wife and I multiple times. Worse yet, the cashier blamed us for her own fault to type our email incorrectly and claiming that she had no idea of how to fix that. She did not understand the then-ongoing promotions and naively assumed that we were seeking for a further student discount on some discounted items, which was not the case. I made a call two days later and spoke to one of the managers. She made personal apologies which was well received. By the end, she promised that this issue would be on the table with the other manager and with the employees who were involved. Two days further, the other manager sent to our email address associated with our account a very generic email without any greetings as if the problem were solved on our end."
