"The chips and salsa were brought shortly after I was seated. The chips were warm, and the salsa was spicy but good. I ordered the shrimp and scallop fajita, which came with rice, guacamole salad, and a choice of tortilla (corn or flour). I had the flour tortillas. I added beans. I was pleasantly surprised when the dish came sizzling but wasn't burnt at all. It was so good. The rice was one of the best I've had. The beans were average. I had to try their fried ice cream. It was very good. I would have like honey drizzle, but the strawberry drizzle was good. I definitely recommend Monterrey."

"Really solid food! Fresh chips, flavorful salsa, well seasoned entrees. Service was quite a bit slower than expected, training a new waitress… no worries. Food served very quickly. Portions were generous. Price was fair."
