"Build a brand new house in Myrtle Beach South Carolina and I used Calonial cabinets and I am so glad I did the quality and the professionalism. The whole process was stress-free Rebecca and Roddy were gems to deal with. Thank you so much for the great looking cabinets and for the quick service you provided. Chuck, who is one of the service personnel is amazing . I couldn’t be happier if anyone wants great quality cabinets, this is the place to go to. Regards, Richie"
"Great local company to do work with. We were kept in the loop during the whole remodel process. Highly recommended."
"Contracted with this company to install new cabinets on showroom display floor. Initial 1/3 deposit paid march 2015. installation started early July 2015 and not completed until mid October 2015 and my showroom was open the entire time. When asked why it was taking so long, owner told me he was old, he did not work fast. Demanded his money while I was out of town, even though I was not here to approve work. Have gradually paid him along, but am holding a small balance. Owner refused to answer my phone calls. Finally got him on the phone today and he said when I paid him, he would come finish job. I told him to come finish job and I would pay him. He hung up on me. I called back and spoke with his wife who is lovely and she told me he would not come make it right and to forget the money I owe them. I told her I would use the money to hire someone else to complete the job, since it was never completed to my satisfaction. Avoid this company!"
"Just a few words to say how please I am regarding my new Colonial Cabinets. Six months ago we contracted Roddi and his team to manufacture cabinets for our new home and with the job finished, it is unbelievable just how beautiful our new kitchen is. Throughout the process, from that first moment when we sat down with Roddi to explain all our wants and desires, to that final moment when that last drawer was installed, everyone at Colonial Cabinets was so accommodating and pleasant. Should you be searching for a company to build you custom made cabinets, and should you desire your cabinets to resemble the finest custom made furniture, have no fear and look no further than Colonial Cabinets. Explain to Roddi what you want or show him a picture, I guarantee that he will produce a masterpiece for you that will make you extremely proud. He did it for us and we are so very pleased. "This would be our third experience with cabinet makers. We now have four as we are on fourth house. Two experiences great, one real bad, and one(the most expensive) horrific! This is it:: He (the owner) talked on and on about how other companies cabinets were junk and how his were built like fine furniture. I never knew that fine furniture had adjustable drawers that cant be adjusted to appear even. The drawer fronts are different sizes. There are no two spaces the same between cabinet drawers OR doors. His "conversion varnish"( finish) that he, bragged about, is like a chalk board that never looks clean because everything smears instead cleaning off. In fact I have a few places where blueberries fell that will not come off at all it has just smeared to a faint purple like it goes behind the veneer. There is a hole on the outside of the pantry cabinet from where too long of a screw was used! The sink base cabinet door now has bubbles in the veneer! There were other problems as well. We were told to use the cabinets for two weeks to allow then to "settle". After about five seconds of deliberation we decided that (for 10K in our small 10x10 kitchen) we requested they be made right before we use them. After six WEEKEND, like Saturday morning, trips, by his employee, (he would not answer our phone call!) the problems were still not resolved. We paid him during installation, before completion, which was a huge mistake. When the employee cancelled on the seventh Saturday my husband sent a text to the "owner", who would still not answer his phone, telling them to not come back to my home, it was clear we had been bamboozled. The cabinet maker with the most experience or the highest prices are clearly not the best! Do not pay before it is complete and right, We would have gotten nicer cabinets from Lowes at half the price. I will be posting pictures. Please, feel free to contact me. I'll let you come see mine in person."
