"Rude, not sure what the problem here is but they can't keep staff and the staff they do hire closes early and sits in the parking lot with their boyfriend. Not the first time, sure it won't be the last. There are several other DGs in the area, just drive a mile or two further."
"I went to check out and said "Hey how you doing" to the cashier. She snapped at me "NO." and kept saying this over and over again very rudely. Wouldn't say anything else. She rung me up, but i got a phone call from a customer of mine while she was doing this. I was paying on the card reader trying to talk to my customer and she was talking over my call (intentionally trying to get the other person to hear) saying "NO." over and over again. I did nothing to her to provoke this; she was just rude for no reason. Maybe it's because of the color of my skin, or because i'm a man? I can't think of any other reason to do that to someone. Anyways, i will never shop in another Dollar General again if these are the kind of people they employ. I get that it's a low-paying, minimum wage job and i don't expect the best customer service. But i at least expect to be respected and talked to politely if i'm not doing anything but checking out and giving you my money. I called corporate and told them, and they said a manager would call me back. Do you think that ever happened? Nope. So clearly they don't even care. Avoid this place."
"You feel a bad vibe when you enter the store. Manager and cashier at counter, neither one spoke when I entered the store. They just looked at me as if I was not welcome. The manager was rude and would not speak when spoken too. You could tell the cashier did not want to be there. Could have been better customer service."
"There was on about to close in 20 minutes and we're rushing people out off the store. There was 2 guys they and locked the door before 10 pm and unlocked it to let me out about 19 minutes til 10 never had that happen before one new woman cashier that I had never seen, people were still trying to come in. But left mad because they couldn't the doors were locked before 10, I heard one of the little men tell the other worker her didn't care providel people could just deal with it it. Very rude to rush customers out before 10."
