"Stopped in for several items, but left with only a few necessities because the loud rap music being played and the trashy, vile lyrics were so disgusting that I had to get out of the store. What a way to entertain your customers who are trying to have a pleasant shopping experience. The person behind the counter never did acknowledge my existence so I used the self check out and went down to Walgreens where I was greeted by the kind clerk and made to feel welcome."

"I go here often since they are closed to me and I live far away from everything else. I'm new to the area and came from a large city and never used to shop here. I really like the staff, they are very nice. The store has a little bit of everything, which comes in handy when we love so far out: food, pet supplies, household, health & beauty, even some clothing items."

"I love Dollar General in Southern Pines but the older white lady cashier that wear the glasses is very rude to customers, she has a very smart mouth, she say personal things when u buy personal items, I bought deodorant and she loud saying I hope you have on some now nobody in line found that to funny. She's never happy seems like, I can go in there 5 times a week she will have the same attitude! She don't care who hear her when she is being rude to other customers. She talks about the customers after they leave to other customers about maybe they didn't have enough money and had to come back or put things back she said well why come if I didn't have enough money wasting my time!!! And the parking lot is full of trash make she can do that when she is outside smoking or if she is the manager get someone else to do it!!! Ima always shop there but her attitude is turning ppl away from that location!"

"When I pulled up all I could see was the trash in the parking lot. The bathroom was disgusting but the employees all seemed pleasant enough. Someone needs to pick up that trash for goodness sakes! You can do better. I will be avoiding this DG."
