"Made a donation at their store today (1/25/24) definitely not a positive experience. I was disappointed because we’ve been in their furniture store and had a great experience. Hopefully we can find someplace to donate without dealing with rude volunteers."
"The amount of items they have here (from clothes to home goods) is great - spread across 4 buildings with the two in the back significantly discounted. They have different deals each week. The two women that work in the front home goods shop on Saturday mornings are great. The coalition takes donations in the middle of the 4 buildings and there is a fridge in the front where you can drop off food items."
"I visited one of the Coalition's Resale shops a couple of days ago called Cris and Florrie's Boutique for the first time. My experience was fine until this old lady Debbie, one of their volunteers, was rude to me. She was carrying something heavy and she did say excuse me. I moved out her way. But to her I wasn't completely out of her way, so she told me with a harsh voice to move! I turned around and told her that she was being very rude and she told me that I was still in her way and she didn't want to drop anything on my foot. I told her that I understood that, and that she still didn't have to talk to me like that. She kept being rude and told me to get over it. I reported her to the manager and he apologized to me for her behavior. I had found out that same day earlier that Debbie had been rude to another customer before me."
"I visited here and was impressed with the nice stuff they have and sell at nice prices. I hear they are constantly getting new donations of furniture, housewares, and clothing. Volunteers run the place. When I visited they were giving books away for free. I happened to see a copy of an out of date Thomas Merton biography by Mott. I bought a copy years ago from a used vendor as it was out of print. For me it was a rare find and I suspect the Coalition may have some rare finds for others. It has a good feel here."
"Great variety and good prices keep the inventory moving. The Bargin Barn in the back gets anything that sits too long inn the shelves or isn't up to their standards. Things are very inexpensive in there. There is also a building next door where they sell clothing."
