"Lowes employees on Monday 1/22 were AMAZING! I wish I got their names but everyone I came in contact with was so friendly and helpful. There was an older gentleman, a former landscaper turned Lowes employee, a lady with an English accent I believe plus everyone in the rental department (morning and night). I had to get drainage pipe, rent a bobcat and a truck. Hands down best customer service in a long time! I am doing a backyard renovation and the gentleman that was a former landscaper told me everything, in detail, of what was needed. The older gentleman showed me where every drainage item piece was and the lady showed me how to hook them together. The lady and gentleman in rentals in the afternoon were amazingly kind and patient showing us how everything worked. The gentleman at drop off was very professional and thorough. Y'all should be proud of the amazing staff you have that helped me yesterday! Many thanks to this crew!"
"Once again this store shows the real meaning of customer service or the lack of it. I bought 48 foot of plastic yellow chain.a Customer service rep “Dean” insisted on helping me at self check out but he charged me $3.49 instead of the $.88 listed on the aisle. When I saw the error I returned to store with my receipt for the adjustment. The lady at Customer service wanted to argue that plastic chain is $3.49. So I walked her back to the location and it’s clearly marked $.88. now I’ve got to go home and bring the chain back to the store to prove to themI bought plastic chain Instead of just adjusting my charge . These people don’t know how to use their handheld computers and when they’re looking up prices or how to correlate the clearly marked charge posted on the aisle , they still wanna argue the point. I told her I want to buy more chain once they fix this, but I still need bring my previously purchased chain back. Why would I buy more plastic chain to connect to metal chain these people are ludicrous And have no concept of customer service. Four is the worst store in the Charlotte area"
"Huge thanks to Harold Fernandez. I purchased (12/27) a new refrigerator from the Fort Mill location. Due to a system glitch, they had to ring up the extended warranty as a separate transaction. I was asked to call Lowes to combine the new fridge to the extended warranty. After countless, frustrating calls talking to a robot, I called Fort Mill and asked for assistance. Harold stepped up and took care of everything, with constant updates, and a clear resolution. I was impressed and that's hard to do. Excellent customer service is rare, so thank you!"
"Absolute worst Appliance customer service I’ve EVER experienced. Every time we go in they do everything they can to ignore you. We just bought a refrigerator November 2023, after calling and being told they had 2-Day delivery because we needed it for Thanksgiving in a week. When we arrived the item was even labeled 2-Day delivery. However, after an hour of product searching, when we tried to checkout, they claimed delivery was only available for 2 weeks! We asked why it was advertised and labeled 2-day, they had no clue because 100 were in stock. I asked to call the warehouse to find out, they didn’t want to. I asked to get a manager, they didn’t want to. It SERIOUSLY felt like they just did not want to sell it to us. Finally, we were persistent in getting someone else to help, because we had spent so much time. And that person noticed that delivery was bumped out 2 weeks because a $10 water connector was added to the cart, which didn’t even require delivery because they had it in the store! They removed it, sold it separately, and we got it in 2 days. But had I not argued with the salesperson for over an hour, we would have had to walk away! In addition to this the salesperson and the manager that actually fixed it were very demeaning, rolling their eyes when we asked questions, and saying we were wrong before investigating. If you have another option for appliances, I highly recommend trying it first!"
"One of the best outdoor centers at any Lowe's location. They had everything I needed to finish upgrading my firepit patio and surrounding yard. The staff was helpful and offered to load my car."
