"Went to the “other guys” to check my battery. They said it was the alternator even though our Jeep showed no symptoms of that being the issue. Took it to Advanced Auto and they were amazing! "This will be our go to auto store going forward. Before stopping at this advanced auto we stopped at auto zone. We needed a battery check and unfortunately the fella at this store didn’t know how to read his machine and told us he thought it was a bad alternator. My husband and I thought that was strange since we had zero signs of a bad alternator and our car only had 40,000 miles on it. So we decided to get a second opinion and I’m so glad we did! This advanced auto checked our battery and right away he knew it was a bad battery. He did check our alternator just to be on the safe side and it was 100% functioning fine. They replaced our battery in less than 10 mins and we were fixed up, good as new! Also, both the fella who helped us and the manger of the store were very professional, friendly and so knowledgeable! "Great job by Chris and his team at Store 6054 today. My wife's SUV had been having power issues x 2 weeks and we'd already replaced the alternator but we'd still get an intermittent "Service Battery" warning. We'd already been back to the shop, who verified the alternator was good but said the battery was weak. Sometimes the battery tests good, sometimes not. Thankful that I did not get a runaround today and they were willing to replace my battery under the warranty (I just bought it 8 months ago).
