"In my opinion, Moffitt Family Funeral Care should be everyone's first choice. My husband died, not unexpectedly, after a long illness. We were asked to choose a funeral home when he first entered hospice and, based on a friend's recommendation, we chose Moffitt, never having met or heard of them before. Four months later, now that all is said and done, it's obvious we made the right choice. From the moment he arrived, it was apparent that this was more than just a business to David Moffitt. His mission is to nurture and care for families during some of the worst moments of their lives and he does it with compassion, knowledge, respect, and even a bit of humor which, at the appropriate moment, could lighten the mood. He's very good at explaining things that most people never want to think about and the good advice he gave us saved us from having regrets. He followed through with arranging a military detail for my husband, lending a flag stand, and calling back several times to make sure everything was going as planned and then to check on things after the fact. We feel like we've made a friend for life and we highly recommend his services."
