"This Shoney's has a special place in my heart! It sits right before the Hwy 441 & Hwy 64 junction (for those of you that commute to and from Harrah's Cherokee)... Every time I leave the comfort of Atlanta (Ha-Ha) for the fun and excitement of the casino (Ha-Ha again) I will stop at this location either on the way or coming back and get a meal that tastes, smells, and feels home cooked! I am a SUPER FAN of the buffet - especially when there's fried chicken! and their breakfast buffet is insanely good (biscuits and gravy with fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon are a '10' EVERY time). When ordering from the menu, get any of the burger options with fries. Their burgers have such a hearty and fresh taste - uncommonly good!! The steak and eggs is another one you should order whenever possible (thank me later)! Service at this Shoney's is efficient and the servers know many of their customers by name... This is incredibly important - makes us all feel 'at home'... On a very personal note, thank you for being the amazing place you are! Some of those trips home were filled with a lot of anxiety, regret, and casino woes... A good "home-style" meal and a smile go a long way!"

"Our service was super-friendly. We were sat promptly. We chose the buffet. Prices are very reasonable. It's a great value for the money. The food was not bad. Some items were bland, like the macaroni and cheese and the mashed potatoes, but the fried chicken was on-point! We are traveling through the area and were looking for a quick bite, so this was a great idea. Desserts are separate and at an additional charge. See pictures. Overall, we enjoyed dining here."

"My husband asked me what I wanted for my Birthday, I told him that I wanted to drive to Shoney’s in Franklin and have breakfast. We live right outside of Athens so the drive is 2 hours. It is well worth the trip!!! The food is always excellent and fresh. It is the closest to grandma cooking that I can get. The ladies there are to be commended!!!!! Thanks for the best birthday gift.!!!!"

"Stopped in thinking buffet but not much on it we liked. Salad bar was very nice though. Bar had chicken, turkey and what looked like fish nuggets(not our thing). Usual fixings, green beans mashed taters and such. Service was good and friendly. I ordered the all American burger with onion rings, more rings would have been great, 5 or 6 onion rings is all I got. Wife had club sandwich with fries, she shared with the grandson and me. It was very good. I would recommend either dish."
