"I live close to the store, but I'll go the extra distance to avoid it. You've got the Dillard store down the road and it's immaculate. Take a trip to the Main street store near the Greenway and it's really good. This store is the worst. I had to install the Dollar General app to make sure anything I want is in stock (which is almost never.) There's lots of stock that sits in the aisles, so good luck if what you want on the ad is in those boxes! The staff will get to stocking shelves WAY after the sale is over. It wouldn't be so aggravating if it wasn't the closest store, but I'd advise traveling to Dillard or Main Street Franklin, even the one on the Highlands road is better than this."
"They have an uncanny knack of stocking such a wide variety of items in such a small footprint. In addition, they offer a large number of DG clone products competitively priced against the major brands. Hats off to them, especially when you consider their low staffing levels which creates additional pressure to maintain adequate restocking for that many sky's."
"They work these ppl way to hard. How can they check people out and stock at the same time. They need to have separate people to stock so the cashiers can do their job. And even tho they are overworked and under paid they still are so nice"
"I waited at the register for someone to check me out. The associate looked at me and continued to work on what he was working on. I waited a little but longer. Went ahead and sent my younger daughter and older daughter to the car. Waited a little bit more and the same guy who looked at me walked to the counter. Didn't say a word to me rang up my items and said the total. Not a " hey how are you" sorry for the wait" or even a thank you at the end. Normally this is a good General and the one I choose to go to, but man the service today was terrible. I don't mind to wait at all. I do mind rudeness. Wait time is not an issue until there is an absence of value. Personal skill are very valuable when in a customer service job."
"Good spot for quick pickups. Always finding something I need there. Only complaint is that stocking carts and equipment seem to be left on the retail floor obstructing pathways and remain unmoved for what seems to be days at a time. If only Miss Linda were there every day, I know the place would be kept in tip top shape!"
