Corky's Dawg House

"This is a hard one for me to review. The food was hot and fresh. The food was seasoned nicely. The service was friendly and great. The problem I have is in the price point. There were three of us. We got a Chicago dog, cheeseburger, a Philly cheese steak, 1 order of fries, 1 order of onion rings, 1 drink and 1 shake. Our total bill was over $60. While the food was good there wasn't anything exceptional or unique about it that I would go back and pay that kind of money. Others may disagree, but I just felt it was too expensive for the kind of food. Like I said, everything was good, just too expensive."

"We drove by this place and wrote it off as just a hotdog stand so many times. We finally tried it and discovered it was run by someone from Chicago who takes extreme pride in the menu and the quality of ingredients. We went there yesterday and went again today. Excellent service as well and cozy atmosphere. A lot of the ingredients are sourced from places in Chicago, and they take pride in the fact that they’re shakes are from real ice cream, not just regular soft serve. We had their seasonal one, and it was delightful. The kielbasa, Italian beef, and even their house salad were amazing. The Chicago dog was my favorite."

"My husband and I drove from Johnson City to Brevard just to eat at Corky's and we were not disappointed! We were greeted the minute we walked in the door by Corky's very friendly staff. It is a walk up counter and no one manning that counter seemed to mind that it was taking us a few minutes to decide what to order. I got a Chicago dog and a fried bologna sandwich; my husband ordered the chili cheese dog and a Chicago dog. We split and order of half Cajun fries half onion rings. Everything was very good and our drinks were refilled quickly. It is a little on the expensive side (but then every thing is these days); our meals came to about $45 before tax and tip. Whenever I visit Brevard, Corky's will definitely be a stop for a great hot dog and friendly service."

"Service was phenomenal at Corky's. Super fast and beyond friendly staff. Had burger, fries, and onion rings. Wouldn't say the food is excellent but very good for the most part. They have some can beer options and wine. Parking was easy enough. Outside patio is neat. All-around happy with our experience."
