"We ordered takeout because we had our little fur baby with us! We are vacationing up here for a week! I lived here for a couple of years in the mid 90’s! I love the red based bbq sauce in North Carolina! I’m from South Carolina and we have the yellow sauce, which I don’t care for. I got the pork bbq, slaw, baked beans and my husband got ribs , okra, slaw and French fries! My husband thought they could have given him a few more ribs because our order was over 50.00! But overall, it was very good!"

"Soooooo Great!!!! Yummy to the inth degree! My tastebuds were still dancing an hour after leaving!! A tasty surprise in a little town that was huge on flavor. You can smell the smokiness before you get out of the car even! There was no wait when we arrived and our server Charles was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. We order a half onion loaf and we split a rack and a half of pork ribs, with fries and beans. The onion loaf was exactly as good as i expected with a spicy ranch dip. The ribs came out fast and were an instant hit. Absolutely delicious sauce and beautiful smoke ring. So sticky good. The beans were on point. Homemade and hearty. Not from a can. There was also garlic toast which helped make a great rib sandwich, lol. We will be back. We will be back. We will be back. So so so soooo so soooo so good. Thanks"

"Decided to stop in on a recommendation. SO glad we did!! Staff was so friendly. The Food is amazing. Bbq, Brisket, Ribs, Chicken...all of it is the best I've ever eaten. We can't wait to get back to Fat Buddies."

"My boyfriend and I ate here and had a really nice time. We were seated immediately. I got the fried chicken tenders platter with potato salad and Kraft mac and cheese, and it came with Texas Toast. I meant to get french fries, so my boyfriend got french fries and shared them with me, and I gave him my potato salad. The food was great. I expected to get a few more tenders but I left full. And then the Kraft mac and cheese was a classic, I got it because I can never get mine to taste like they make it in a restaurant. The french fries were nice and crispy. Our server, Taylor, was incredibly sweet and checked in on us at the perfect times. I really liked it here and would definitely like to visit again!"
