Reviews
"Awesome selection of Studio Ghibli and overall anime merch and super helpful and friendly ladies behind the counter!"
"Great place to shop for black bears to take home or fur baby black bears. Love the fact the customer service is excellent and even offered to hold my items while we walked around Gatlinburg. Will definitely be back."
"Such a wonderful store with top tier costumer service !! So many unique things for every personality in 1 store. Great quality with great prices! HIGHLY RECOMMEND"
"Great place to shop for someone who has everything. Love the collection of POPs they have , At first I thought overpriced , but when I looked up some of them, I understood the big difference is supply and demand, small businesses can’t order in bulk like Amazon, ECT. So of course the price is alittle higher but I can look and buy what I want then and there. By the time you pay shipping you already have it in hand, plus some of them are retried. Love the Harry Porter stuff. Gem of a place to shop."
"staff was nice and this place definitely has some hidden gems however a majority of the merch is bootleg and overpriced. unless you want to pay out the nose for something you could buy on wish, i’d avoid this shop entirely. when i visited they were selling a bootleg of the banpresto colosseum shigaraki tomura figurine for 80 dollars. a quick google search shows you could get a genuine one for around the same price. i dont really care about selling bootleg merch to tourists cuz i mean everyone does it but at least price it accordingly. edit: I was trying to be civil and truthful in my original review but obviously the shop owner doesn't care about being civil. Love that this shop claims to be LGBTQ+ friendly when, clearly, the owner is not. Nice transphobic comment you have in the first sentence of your reply. You must sleep really well at night. G Leonard is indeed my real name, thank you very much, and I do reside in the states; I don't have anything to prove to you regarding my google profile. I was visiting Gatlinburg with my friends from Knoxville when I was in your store. In fact, I'll upload some pics I took in your store which, BTW, has a no photograph policy. Hm.. I wonder why... it's as if you know exactly what you're doing by scamming innocent tourists. As you can see by this photo, I was in the store. Nice printed stolen fanworks you're selling. Are the artists and or licensing companies getting any money for the things you're selling?? Defamation of my character or review doesn't prove anything. In fact, I think it makes my claims that much more truthful. Nowhere in my original review did I say anything about buying off Amazon. In fact, I'd encourage anyone interested in legitimate figurines, Banpresto or otherwise, to check out online shops that are verified or buy from vendors that can show proof of validity. Validity being certain characteristics of the figures themselves and official seals on boxes. I'd bet my whole savings that the boxes for these "legitimate Banpresto figures" that are being sold at this store do not have any of Banpresto's signature seals or logos. Again, I enjoyed the things you had in your store and the front desk worker was very nice, though they did warn me that you would have kicked me out and banned me from the store if you would've heard me saying this about the merchandise in real life. Now I know they were being truthful. Scare tactics aren't an adequate way to run a business. I was simply stating that selling the bootleg merch at the insane markup that you are is just a tourist trap, and is, quite frankly, unethical in my opinion. Hope you have a lovely existence scamming the innocents."
