"I don’t normally order gravy because most places… it’s terrible but at Everett Street Diner it is THE REAL Deal! I had the Southern Fried Biscuit Breakfast and it was a 10/10 the chicken strips were crunchy and flavorful, the perfect contrast for the biscuit and gravy! Eggs and hash-browns rounded out my amazing breakfast! My husband had the Mountain Man and he loved it! Cleaned the plate! The atmosphere in the diner was warm and welcoming. The owner made the visit even better, he was attentive and engaging, made us feel like ole friends, while there we learned that the owner does a lot to give to local charities, and it made us love this place even more! If you are near Bryson City it is worth a visit the food is delicious and remember to give a little extra!"
"Service was great on a holiday Monday. Coffee was yummy. Grits were creamy. Wheat toast and biscuits were great. Hash browns were crunchy. Sausage patties a little dry but no gristle. If you like your over easy eggs ours were watery. Scrambled were okay."
"Fabulous Food with Exceptional Service- from the time you open the door you have the personal feel of being a local. The environment is mountain posh with personalized service. The owner is part of the team and truly supports his staff ( rare quality) The food is 5 star , and there is plenty of it. I had the best waffle , I've ever had in 46yrs. You need to make this your daily stop - your wallet and tummy will thank you."
"Old downtown diner, food was great and the service was excellent. Busy place, we had to wait for 20 mins which was spot on. We both had the 1/2 pastrami sandwich and bowl of chicken and dumplings. The dumplings were not the best but were good on a cold day."
"Me and the wife decided to go to the mountains in NC to observe the autumn foliage! We discovered this diner on Google maps and wanted to give it a try. Be prepared for a queue because of how popular this restaurant is! We ended up being seated for lunch time and missed breakfast by minutes! The owner was so nice and hospitable! For lunch me and the wife decided to split the Rueben sandwich with fries and have the triple berry cobbler for dessert! The Rueben was phenomenal and the bread they used for the sandwich was incredible. The fries were nice and crunchy! Lastly, the triple threat cobbler was sensational! The gluten they used to bind the cobbler together was probably the best I have ever had! Also, the ice cream was a great way to enhance the experience of eating the cobbler. Lastly, the owner took the time to acknowledge our honeymoon to the whole restaurant and wanted to celebrate with us. He was so kind and genuine! We totally felt loved and welcomed! 10/10 would recommend this place!"
