"After seeing pictures of the chicken katsu and reading the high rating, i had to stop by. Was not disappointed! The katsu was crisp and flavorful (hint of sweetness which i took as the Hawaiian flare), the rice was excellent and the mac was light and tasty! For $13 it was worth every penny. They even provided a local recommendation to get some milkshakes. They are open late which was a huge plus for us! I will be back every time i pass thru Bryson City!"
"I went here on Friday and then came back next the day cause it was that good. The chicken katsu is fantastic. I highly highly recommend spending a few extra bucks to get the double combo so you can multiple items. On my second visit I got the pulled pork and garlic chicken. OH MY! The smoky flavor of the pulled pork is incredible and that depth of flavor in the garlic chicken is outstanding. I would order this again and again if I could. Highly recommend ordering a side of the bell pepper aioli it is next level. The macaroni salad you should be prepared to fall in love with and order a to go pint!! Note: this food truck is busy and they take the time to prepare the food fresh. Be prepared to wait about 15 minutes for your meal, but trust me it is absolutely worth it. Both times, the workers were so nice and kind to me and very helpful. Having people who make you feel like you are welcome and appreciated makes the meal experience so so so much better. I appreciate how kind and helpful they were even though they were so busy and probably stressed. Can't wait to come back again!"
"Over a few days my wife and I have tried the garlic chicken, chicken katsu, kahlua pork, and loco moco. All are amazing and worth trying but the garlic chicken and chicken katsu are probably our favorite. Do yourself a favor and get the combo with both, and double the Mac salad, which is awesome, also. Definitely some of the best food in town and some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve had outside of Hawaii."
"We stopped here for lunch today. This food truck had three round picnic tables with umbrellas to sit and enjoy your food. We ordered the Garlic Chicken and Shoyu Chicken. Both were good, but I liked the Garlic Chicken the best of the two."
