"We have been several times. We travel from Lincolnton to Morganton. This is a bout a 45 to 60 min trip. The Ruben is amazing. The bbq is some of the best in NC. This trip I had the sampler try and it was absolutely amazing. The bar is top notch and the beer list has some of the best craft brews from around the western NC."

"I came here for dinner on Sunday around 6pm. It was not too crowded, and we were seated right away at a corner high top. There were a ton of TVs so if you're looking for a place to watch some games, this is definitely it. Our waitress was really nice, maybe a little timid, and even apologized for carding us. We started with drinks, just a beer and cocktail, and got the bourbon and volcano burgers. I honestly thought my long island tea tasted more like juice than anything else; definitely not nearly as stiff as I expected especially compared to other bars. I ended up getting a glass of wine for my second drink because that seemed like a better bet. All in all, this place will get the job done if you're in a pinch and really just need some food, but it's pretty standard, or slightly subpar fare. I would probably try to check out another dive/burger bar if I were back in the area."

"Order a mushroom and Swiss burger. Got a regular burger instead with tomato’s, pickles, lettuce an onions. I politely asked for my waitress an told her it was wrong she said your right it’s supposed to be a mushroom and Swiss. She takes it back an 2 mins later brings me the same burger with everything still on it but all she did was add mushrooms no mushroom gravy. Literally just added mushrooms. I love this place an they literally have the best fried pickles. Beautiful insides an is right beside the river. I am sitting inside the restaurant while typing this an my meal was 51 even though I was handed the wrong meal. I gave her 60 an told her to keep the change even though she was rude. Always be kind."

"We drove an hour to eat here. When we walked in and asked to sit by the window closest to the river, we were told all of the tables were dirty. Ok, so clean them. We said we'd wait. She dissappears for a moment, then another girl comes and tells us the server is stressed out. Aren't we all and its none of our business. If she is stressed, send her home, give her a break, go smoke or give her a shot. But, you handle it. We are seated somewhere else. When I look towards the tables we wanted to sit, they were clean. So she lied to us. Then, 10 minutes later a couple walks in and is seated where we wanted to sit. 5 minutes later, another couple, seated in the same area. We ordered the pub chips loaded. As you can see in the photo it is a very meager portion. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Server asked if I wanted the wrap or the burger. Got the burger. Check time, charged extra for the bacon. I asked why and she said it was because I got the burger and not the wrap. Ok, so why didn't she say that? The menu is MISLEADING. See photo of the bill. NOT WORTH IT. Burger was ok and at least the tots weren't soggy. Will never go back. It's pretty sad. We are exceptional tippers and we aren't hard to please but the first impression this place made on us will be the last."

"Great view of the river and lots of outdoor space. Burgers are decent and there is a good selection of appetizers. Limited kids menu. Good selection of beers. Service was a little slow when we visited but the staff were friendly. We didn't expect the view to be so nice as the entrance is just your basic strip mall. Overall good spot for a drink and a burger."
