"The food is pretty good and the burgers are awesome. The one thing that I have a huge issue with every time I have came is that I have to get up out of my seat to get a refill, I literally had to pour the pitcher of tea into my glass while the waitress stood right next to me leaning on the counter chatting to two more waitresses just standing there at the counter. I have to get up to get a condiment, a to go bag. They take your order and bring out your food. That’s pretty much it. No coming around to offer refills or check on you but then ask if you want to leave a tip. I believe in tipping well for good service but if I’m getting my own refills, condiments and carrying my own food to the counter because no one offers a to go box, I should be the one getting a tip, so I keep my tip. There is one waitress there who is amazing but the others take your order bring out your food and you spend your time eating your meal watching them chit chat with each other at the counter rather than check in on their customers. Food is good and reasonably priced but the service needs to go up several more notches before I go back again."

"Food was great! Had the "Just Plain Hungry". Service was ok, only one server was working and every booth was dirty from previous customers. Tried to go back another day but they closed early. Will go back for the food again though."

"This is your typical greasy spoon which I enjoy from time to time. I had country fried steak, eggs over easy, home fries, grits and I could have gotten toast or biscuit. Everything was cooked exactly as I asked and tasted awesome! There was so much food that I couldn't possibly finish it all. Would definitely recommend!"

"Well I had to find out what all the fuss was about so I came in to see.....WOW!!! Typical down home diner with an EVERYBODY WELCOMED feel. The food was good, really good and fast, the service was prompt and the prices were from a decade or 2 ago. I had the just plain hungry breakfast and it did the job, I am not hungry now!!!! I was told they have some awesome stuffed baked potatoes so that will be my next item to try, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. All the way from Baton Rouge and it was worth the wait."

"We stopped in while traveling. The sign on the building says Old Fashioned Burgers. We were unfortunately disappointed. Burgers were pre-made and weren't good. I'd say below average and the fries were similar. Maybe a 4 out of 10. Cannot recommend."
