"Went to go get supper and in the middle of placing my order a girl came in in Street clothed and was standing on front line picking her nose and then tried making my food. I politely told her I was deciding until the other guy came to finish my order. Like ma'am please wash your hands. I almost left without finish ordering"
"I waited for 45 minutes on my food, politely asked the manager for a cup of tap water. She had the audacity to tell me they were out of complimentary cups. I said, can you put it in a regular cup. She said it would be 25 cents. I said she should give it to me since I waited so long. She screamed at the employee and said “MAKE HIM A FREE WATER!!!” The employee was nice, but I would assume the woman who screamed was a manager. She was barking orders like one. Then I went a second time on December 29, 2023 at 8:30 P.M. and they just never came to the window, ever. After waiting for 20 minutes. I heard dishes getting washed in the background. From my own experience, and reading other comments it appears this subway has went downhill."
"Watch out for the store manager Ashley. I came today and she was so worried about micromanaging her team and worrying about everything they were doing that she wasn't paying attention to the customers and what they actually wanted. She didn't even make my sandwich right because she was so worried about everybody else and when I called her out on it and said let your team work instead of holding their hand because your team knows how to do their job she told me actually she was doing her job and you'd be surprised in what they know in front of everybody else. That's so inappropriate and makes your team feel like they're lesser than you and does nothing for employee morale. This lady is not an effective manager and needs to step back a little bit so she can let her team thrive and provide excellent customer service."
"The food was good and the employees were nice, especially Nancy. There was an argument in the lobby and it was because some older man wanted to have an argument over politics, then some other lady started going off about having to wait for her food. The employees were super busy and trying to be helpful but the customers were just horrible."
"I order online. But!! You go in to get your order and you have to stand in line to get your order. Such a big hassle. I work in Knoxville and no hassle. This Subway chain has gone down sense they moved. The manager Ashley talks down to everyone. Even customers when you try to settle a dispute. Over the register is a sign that reads "Express Checkout". I ordered online so I don't have to deal with lines or people. I already checked out. I don't need to checkout. They store the orders in the back, unlike any other chain and your supposed to know before you enter the store to go to the checkout to get your purchased items you paid for online. Ashley was rude and condescending to me when I expressed my confusion. She sarcastically stated "the sign says express checkout". How do I know it's referring to my order I purchased online. I don't need to checkout. The whole purpose of online line ordering is to avoid rude and condescending people like her. She talks down to her poor staf apparently they are poorly trained in the first place. The food is always good but it's the same at all Subway chains. I hope the owners read these reviews and this issue is corrected. I feel an apology is in order as well."
