"Disappointing experience. My husband and I decided to go get a juicy whopper Jr for supper. We pulled into the parking lot just before 8 pm on a Saturday night and there were no customers in the restaurant. This should have been a sign when all the restaurants we passed we packed. I'm not sure what's going on with the menu. There are 2 screens and 1 has all drinks and desserts. The other kept rotating to specials. I didn't see anywhere that had combo numbers with prices and choices. I told my husband well I know they have whopper Jr's just not seeing them. When we got to the counter there was a dirty paper menu taped to the counter but no prices. We ordered 2 whopper Jr combos (so they do have them) with large onion rings and no onions on 1 of the whopper Jr's. By the time my husband ran his credit card and we got our cups and were headed to get our drinks the cashier sat our food on the counter and called us over as we were still at the counter so food was not fresh and with no customers hard telling how long it had been there. No one dining in and just a couple in drive thru. Told husband that was fast....too fast. Got drinks from grubby looking counter area. Opened sandwiches to figure out which one didn't have onions. Attendant had points out but forgot. One had 3 hald pieces the other had 1. Paper wrap looked like it had been opened onion taken off and rewrapped. Burgers cold and no sauce to speak of and a couple of hard white lettuce clumps. Had to get ketchup to add to make it edible. 2 large onion rings slightly warm and left over. 2 different batches and not cooking consistently because some were cooked to the right color and cold and others very pale color and slightly warm. Wish I hadn't wasted my money and had a better night out. I hadn't been in a long time due to the last time I had been there food was just ok but dine in not good do to raining and buckets were everywhere. Seems to have roof fixed as had been raining Sat and dining area was dry. Empty but dry. The whole time we ate only saw a few more people come in. Not very good for a Sat evening. Someone needs to straighten that store out. Would love to have a great Burger King in town."
"Stopped on the interstate on the drive back from Cashiers. My husband thought the junior whopper tasted different than they used to taste. I really didn't know"
"I've had mixed experiences here, but most have been good, and the bad was only one time. The bad first, the parking lot here needs power washed or cleaned up, presents a bad first impression. One time after ordering on the app, I walked in, over to the counter where you pick up your food. Lady was packing up food for to go, she turned around a few times, saw me but continued to ignore me. So, well over 5 min later I was finally able to get my bag which was ready. Sandwich was colder by the time i made it out to the parking lot to dig in to it. Otherwise my other visits have been good, servers attentive and food was very good. In the age of $15 dollar gourmet burgers, it's good to get a Whopper made your way for a much more reasonable price. The app always has freebie offers from soda to free fries."
"Went through drive thru and ordered $61 worth of food. Got home I was missing 2 plain chicken wraps. Called the store and talked with the manager Paige. I told her I just got home and I was missing the 2 plain wraps and she told me to hold on a second. She came back to the phone and told me she personally packed my order and everything was in there. She said I’m not saying your wrong but I packed it myself and I know everything was packed. Ok. First off I’m not going to lie over 2 chicken wraps. Worst service ever since the whole time on the phone she insinuated I was lying and made it a point to repeat herself 3 times that she packed them and since I’m saying they are not there she will replace them for me. I understand Newport is a poor county and this probably happens to them a lot but to say I’m lying without actually telling me that is so wrong on so many levels. I will not be spending any of my money at a place that’s calling me a liar over two chicken wraps"
"The place was clean, staff was super friendly, bathrooms clean and stocked. The food was hot and fresh. After a small delay for my husband's fish sandwich, the manager brought him a piece of Hershey pie. We told her it wasn't necessary but she insisted. Would definitely recommend stopping here for a meal."
